Waitrose won't let me buy any more than 6 bottles with my grocery.

Waitrose Cellar almost nil stock. Just a few pricey specimens.

Yikes. What is this world coming to?
Went to Sainsbury’s the other day and 50% of the wine was cleared off the shelves

Hope everyone is keeping well
All these years of “collecting” wine has finally paid off with no need to rush out to pick anything up. Albeit most wine still seems to be easy enough to come by online if not available locally.
I’m having on and off weeks when it comes to increased consumption though. Managed thenodd weed where I had 2-3 dry nights but then have had weeks where at least a glass is had every night.
It’s s till not making a massive dent in the cellar however other than white wines for the wife (still on the MSB) that I have to top up occasionally

How are you folk all getting on?

We're good thanks, I'm currently furloughed, been at home for five weeks now, getting lots of decorating done, and lots of relaxing too. It's also given me more time to paint.

My wifes SEN school has closed for now, my daughter is now 18yo and working, luckily she prefers cider otherwise my wine would be in serious danger If you're looking for a film to watch, check out Uncorked on Netflix, something different and rather enjoyable.

Stay safe.

Glad to hear you’re all well Graham and that you’re making the most of furlough. Hope it doesn’t last too long for it to become financially challenging.
I’m having to work from home and find myself constantly online and it seems to be a lot harder to switch off the laptop compared to when I was going in to an office and able to walk out in the evening. My wife is a teacher is is having to do 1-2 days a week in school still to support children of key workers and those at higher risk during lockdown

Best of luck with the water colours endeavour. I’ll be sure to look out for your work online.
Good shout in Uncorked. I’d meant to put that in my watchlist when it came out but forgot so thanks for the reminder. I started watching The Last Dance on netflix tonight with my eldest daughter if you’re interested in sport documentaries.

Ba/Goose/Richard, how are you guys doing ?

Forgot to mention, the Piccini Memoro Red is currently reduced to £6 in Morrisons. Decanter Gold winner, I believe it's a NV, bloody lovely and a steal at the reduced price.

I'm 'home alone'. Filthy cold but not the unmentionable.

Managed to organise various online deliveries from all the big 5 though Sains now impossible.

Things getting back to almost normal now, could have had 3 deliveries next week. Just strong bread flour still unavailable.

Gone a bit overboard with the boozo and now have plentiful stocks.
